  • The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has more than 150,000 members worldwide.
  • The IET was formed in March 2006 by the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE).
  • We have active networks of members in 37 countries around the world.
  • There are twelve medals and presentations awarded each year. The most prestigious prize the IET can award is the Faraday Medal.
